Kol Torah is a student-run publication of the Torah Academy of Bergen County, located in Teaneck, New Jersey. Since its initial publication in 1991, Kol Torah has served the Jewish community through its publication of high quality Halachah and Parashah articles on a weekly basis. The majority of our articles are contributed by TABC faculty, students, and alumni.
Kol Torah's rabbinic advisor is Rabbi Chaim Jachter, Chair of the Tanach department at TABC, and Rabbi of The Sephardic Congregation of Teaneck, Sha'arei Orah. Rabbi Jachter received his Yadin Yadin ordination from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary of Yeshiva University. He addresses the needs of Jewish communities all over the world through his counsel on the development of Mikvah and Eruv infrastructure. Additionally, he serves on the Beit Din of Elizabeth, and is certified by the Israeli Rabbinate as a Get Administrator. His "Halachah Files", published weekly in Kol Torah, can be found here.
